GUARGACHO: INFO

Guargacho is a small village located in the south of Tenerife, in the Canary archipelago, belonging to the municipality of San Miguel de Abona. This locality is characterized by a tranquil and rural atmosphere. Away from the island’s coastal tourist areas, but well-connected thanks to its strategic location.

Guargacho is located just a few kilometers from the famous localities of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas, allowing easy enjoyment of the wonderful beaches and the services they offer.

The surrounding landscape is dominated by hills with numerous plantation areas of bananas, tomatoes, and potatoes, reflecting the traditional and agricultural aspect of the area. It also offers a spectacular view of the sea and mountains, creating a perfect environment for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

Guargacho is also close to the Montaña de Guaza Natural Reserve, an ideal area for hiking and nature walks. Also to the Los Abrigos area, a picturesque fishing village that boasts excellent fish restaurants and an impressive view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Although Guargacho is not a mass tourist destination, its central location in the south of Tenerife makes it an ideal place to explore the island and enjoy a quieter life, without straying from the main tourist attractions of the area.
